Archpriest Nikolai Peshko: Love in the family should reflect Divine lovetranslated

On October 16, 2026, the rector of the Church of the Holy Life-Giving Trinity of the agricultural town of Markovo, Molodechno district, Archpriest Nikolai Peshko visited the State Educational Institution “Markovskaya Comprehensive School”.
As part of the Week of Parental Love, a spiritual and educational conversation was organized for students in grades 5-8 on the topic “A house is built on love.”
Priest Nikolai emphasized that love in marriage should be Christian, and not just a passionate feeling or affection. It must reflect Divine love, which, according to the Apostle Paul, “is long-suffering, kind, does not envy, does not become conceited, is not proud, does not act rudely, does not seek its own, is not easily provoked, does not think evil, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”
