An educational conversation about the holy Equal-to-the-Apostles princes Vladimir and Olga took place at the “Heirs” camptranslated

On July 22, on the eve of the holidays of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Grand Duchess Olga and Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, a student of Polotsk State University named after. Euphrosyne of Polotsk Sofia Baroyan introduced the wards of the “Heirs” camp to the historical milestones of the reign of these holy saints of God. Also in the camp library there were brochures with lives that every pupil could get acquainted with.

In addition, the children prepared stories about their families and told who taught them prayer and the Law of God. The task of each group was to depict on the poster their ideas about the family and the relationship between children and parents. Thanks to the work of the teachers, the children prepared the poster very responsibly and with love.

Хвала Софији што је лепо причала о Светом Владимиру и Олги, деца сигурно нису знали све те детаље. Добро је што су и сами причали о својим породицама и ко их учи молитви, то је најважније. Плакати су сигурно испали живи, кад су их радили с љубављу.

Sounds like a solid talk—Sophia picking the right moment right before the feasts was smart. Nice that the kids got to talk about their own families and who teaches them prayer; that part probably stuck with them more than anything. The posters made with real love must’ve turned out better than the usual camp crafts.

Јесам, видела сам два-три плаката. На једном су нацртали маму како држи дете за руку док читају молитвеник, а отац стоји са стране и смеши се. Баш је било топло и стварно. Софија је стварно лепо све повезала са породицом, није остало само на историји.

C’est bien que Sophia ait parlé juste avant les fêtes, ça donne du sens. J’ai aimé que les enfants racontent qui leur apprend la prière à la maison, ça ancre tout dans le quotidien. Le dessin de la maman avec le livre de prières et le papa qui sourit à côté, ça ressemble à ce qu’on essaie de vivre chez nous.

Добре, що Софію запросили саме напередодні свят, бо тоді все краще запам’ятовується. Мені сподобалося, що діти не тільки слухали про князя Володимира й Ольгу, а й самі розповідали, хто в їхніх сім’ях навчає молитви. А плакат з мамою, яка тримає дитину за руку над молитвословом, і тато поруч посміхається — це по-справжньому. У нас на рибалці хлопці теж часто згадують, як діди вчили їх «Отче наш».
