Last week, within the framework of the established cooperation between the parish of the Presentation of the Theotokos in the city of Soavtor and the management of the Rosgvardiya, a discussion was held on the topic "Suicide and Traditional Values."

The parish priest, Hieromonk Sergius Griden, during the conversation with the service personnel of the department, discussed the spiritual and moral aspects of preserving life, as well as the importance of relying on traditional family and cultural foundations in difficult life situations. Additionally, in anticipation of National Unity Day, the historical and spiritual significance of this date was touched upon: the priest reminded that on this day the Church celebrates the memory of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God, which played a key role in uniting the people.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Rosgvardiya officers were able to ask the priest questions of interest to them. Both sides expressed hope for further cooperation in the field of spiritual and moral education of law enforcement officers.
