On September 23, Vice-Rector for Research, Head of the Department of Theology, Professor of the Samara Theological Seminary, Archpriest Oleg Agapov took part in the plenary session of the International Scientific and Theological Conference “Topical Issues of Modern Theology and Church Science.” The scientific forum was held at the St. Petersburg Theological Academy. Archpriest Oleg Agapov presented a report on the topic “Some aspects of the theology of Archpriest. Alexander Schmemann through the prism of the philosophical and literary studies of Merab Mamardashvili.” The speech was devoted to the analysis of the theological heritage of the famous pastor in the context of Russian philosophical thought of the twentieth century.
