In the promotion hall of the House of Milanović in Banja Luka, last night there was a special, festive atmosphere dedicated to the preservation of cultural and historical heritage — the promotion of the first volume of the Collected Works of Prote Marko S. Popović Rodoljub.

The promotion was opened with inspired words by the manager of the House of Milanović, prof. Duško Pevulja. In his opening address, prof. Pevulja welcomed the gathered and emphasized the importance of the House of Serbian Culture as a place that gathers and preserves sacred values, stressing the importance of preserving the memory of personalities who left a deep mark on our spirituality and history.

The author and editor, archpriest Marko Gojačić, spoke about this extensive and capital edition, who shared with the attendees the details of the many years of dedicated work on collecting and systematizing the material. Support through expert and historical interpretations was provided by theologian and historian Mr. Dario Drinić, as well as MSc historian Mr. Petar Milošević, pointing out the inestimable value of Popović's character and work for understanding the past.

It’s good that such a work was published in the first volume - it’s clear how many years Archpriest Marko Gojaczy spent collecting everything bit by bit. I wonder if in the next volumes there will be something about his service in our area or only about Rodoubu as a writer? Thanks to the organizers, especially Dusko Pevuja, for preserving such names.

Yes, Marko Gojačić has really been collecting pieces for many years, you can feel it. I am most interested in whether in the second volume there will be something about Rodoub’s service in Herzegovina, because there he left the most noticeable mark. Thank you for raising this issue, Maria.
