Project for the prevention of social isolation: A network of 15 community clubs supports the elderly in Bacău Countytranslated

A network of 15 community clubs supports vulnerable elderly people in Bacău county, within a project dedicated to preventing social isolation. The action is carried out by the "Trinity of Bishops" Association between September 1 and October 31.
The initiative is addressed to a group of 525 people, 80% of whom come from rural areas. The clubs are organized in the municipality of Bacău and in 12 other localities of the county, being integrated into a network of community spaces developed in the last years of organization, together with the Archdiocese of Bacău.
Entitled "Senior Age, Active Age - network of community clubs to prevent social isolation of the elderly in Bacău County", the project benefits from non-refundable funding from the Bacău County Council.
According to the initiators, the activities aim to increase social participation and maintain ties between the elderly and the communities they belong to.
