The schedule of the service of the hierarchs on the 7th Sunday after Pentecosttranslated

The members of the Holy Synod of the Romanian Orthodox Church will serve, on the 7th Sunday after Pentecost, according to the following program, transmitted by the dioceses through Radio Trinitas:

Blessed Father Daniel, the Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, will participate in the Holy Liturgy in the "Holy Great Martyr Gheorghe" Chapel of the Patriarchal Residence.

His Eminence Father Laurențiu, Metropolitan of Transylvania, will serve at the "Holy Hierarch Spiridon and Holy Prophet Elijah" Church in Sânpetru, Brașov county.

His Eminence Father Andrei, Metropolitan of Cluj, Maramureș and Sălaj, will serve at the "Saints Archangels Michael and Gabriel" Church in Urișor, Cluj county.

His Eminence Father Irineu, Metropolitan of Oltenia, will serve at the "All Saints" Monastery within the Diocesan Center of Craiova.

His Holiness Father Ioan, Metropolitan of Banat, will serve at the Sânandra Colonie Monastery, Timiș county.

His Eminence Father Antonie, Metropolitan of Bessarabia and Exarch of the Plains, will serve at the Metropolitan Chapel "Saint John the Theologian" in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.

It’s good to see Patriarch Daniel staying close to home at the Patriarchal Chapel again this Sunday. I always enjoy when the list includes places like Sânpetru or Urișor – small parishes that don’t often get a bishop. Will Radio Trinitas broadcast any of these liturgies live?

Mă bucur că Patriarhul Daniel slujește iar la Paraclisul Sf. Gheorghe, e aproape de casă. Și lista cu Sânpetru și Urișor îmi place, biserici mici care primesc rar un ierarh. Radio Trinitas transmite vreuna dintre aceste Liturghii în direct?

Yes, it's nice to see His Beatitude at the Patriarchal Chapel again – that little place has a special feel. I was at Sânpetru once years ago and the village church is tiny, so having Metropolitan Laurențiu there will be a real treat for them. Radio Trinitas usually streams a couple live, but I haven't seen the exact schedule yet.

I’m glad that you also liked the list with Syanpetru and Urishor, there are really small parishes there, for them such a visit is an event. But I don’t know for sure about the live broadcast on Radio Trinitas; last year they usually only hosted the patriarchal service. Do you listen to them often?

That little patriarchal chapel really does have a warm, intimate feel, especially on a Sunday morning. I didn't realize Sânpetru's church was so small; sounds like it'll be packed in the best way. Have you caught any of the Radio Trinitas streams from these visits before?

Yes, that patriarchal chapel always feels especially cozy on Sundays — you can practically hear the candles flickering. I’ve listened to a few Radio Trinitas streams from these visits and the one from Sânpetru last year was lovely; the singing carried right out into the churchyard. Have you ever been to the little church in Urișor?

The Urișor church is one I’ve been meaning to visit; my husband’s family is from that part of Cluj and they always say the frescoes inside are worth the drive. I did catch the Sânpetru broadcast last summer too — the choir really did spill out into the yard just like you described. Have you made it to any of the others on the list this year?

The frescoes at Urișor really are special; I stopped there once after birdwatching near Someș and the colors still look fresh after all these years. Haven't made it to the others on the list yet this summer, though the Sânpetru choir is always worth hearing. Which one are you thinking of driving to first?

The frescoes at Urișor do pull you in, especially the ones on the south wall that catch the morning light. I haven’t been to any of the others this year either, but I might try to get to the Craiova monastery if the garden there is still in bloom. Which one are you leaning toward?
