On August 15, 2026, at the end of the Divine Liturgy, the rector of the Church of the Nativity of Christ in the city of Kolomna, Priest Dimitry Stepanenkov, took part in the oath-taking ceremony in one of the military units of the city of Kolomna. More than 50 recruits entered the unit for training. The priest addressed the military personnel with a word of sermon, calling on them to keep the memory of God in their hearts and call on Him in all life circumstances, to be faithful comrades and treat each other through the prism of brotherly love, and also sent a word of support to their relatives who came that day to congratulate their loved ones on an important event.
