Acceptance of the promise by the cadets of the Samara Cossack Corpstranslated

On October 14, in the church in honor of the Holy Apostle Andrew the First-Called, students of the Samara Cossack Cadet Corps accepted the promise of a Cossack cadet. Before the ceremony, the military priest of the Volga Military Cossack Society, Archpriest Sergiy Nesterov, served a prayer service, after which, in the presence of teachers and honored guests, the cadets swore to be faithful to the Fatherland, the Orthodox faith and the Cossacks, kissed the corps banner and venerated the shrines. The director of the corps, Sergei Igorevich Sinyavsky, addressed the students with a parting word, emphasizing the high responsibility and importance of preserving historical traditions.
