An example that changed the life of a sorcerertranslated

On October 15, the Church honors the memory of the holy martyrs Cyprian and Justina. How did the faith of a young girl move the famous priest and pagan to be baptized, become a bishop and accept martyrdom for the sake of Christ?
The future saints lived in Antioch during the reign of Emperor Decius. At the age of seven, Cyprian’s parents gave their son to sorcerers and magi so that they would teach him the wisdom of witchcraft and teach him to enter into direct contact with unclean spirits. Cyprian was quite successful in his skillful knowledge of these lawless sciences and soon became the most respected priest in Antioch. Many residents of the city showed respect to him, people came to him for “help.” Cyprian himself spoke about himself like this: “Believe me that I saw the prince of darkness himself, for I appeased him with sacrifices; I greeted him and spoke to him and his elders; he loved me, praised my intelligence and said in front of everyone: “Here is the new Zamri, always ready for obedience and worthy of communicating with us!” And he promised to make me a prince upon my departure from the body, and during my earthly life to help me in everything; At the same time, he gave me a regiment of demons to serve.”
Faith and love spell
Justina was also born into a pagan family, her father was the same priest...
