The First Meeting of the Little Orthodox will bring together approximately 200 children in Hârjatranslated

The Archdiocese of Romanian and Bacău will organize on September 2 the Meeting of the Little Orthodox at the Hârja Social-Medical and Educational Services Ensemble, where approximately 200 children are expected.
The participants come from the day centers of the diocese and will benefit from a day dedicated to prayer, communion, Christian formation and the joy of being together.
The program will begin with the Holy Liturgy, performed by His Holiness Father Teofil Trotușanul, Vicar Bishop of the Roman and Bacau Archdiocese, together with a council of priests.
The central theme of the meeting is the 16 Holy Women canonized by the Romanian Orthodox Church. The workshops will address models of faith, courage, family, generosity and spiritual life, in an interactive format adapted to the age of the participants.
The awards ceremony will follow, the distribution of schoolbags with supplies and catechetical materials, as well as a series of workshops dedicated to children.
The day will end with a thematic trip to the Church of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary in Borzești and the Municipal Library Radu Rosetti in Onești.
