On August 9, in the Church of the Sovereign Icon of the Mother of God on Kultury Avenue in St. Petersburg, awards were given to sisters of mercy and volunteers serving in military hospitals. Among the recipients is Natalya Ivanovna Blinkova, a parishioner of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the village of Chernaya Rechka.
The medal for service in hospitals was presented to Natalia Ivanovna by the rector of the Church of the Sovereign Icon of the Mother of God, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Archpriest Sergius Filimonov.
