Parishioners shared the harvest with the monastic monasteriestranslated

Lida land is rich in various gifts. But its greatest wealth is the people who inhabit it. Among the parishioners of the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the agricultural town of Dokudovo, there is a good tradition: every autumn, after harvesting, on the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, under the leadership of the rector, Priest John Peshko, believers share their harvest - they bring the grown fruits for donation to the nearest monasteries. This year was no exception. And one of the monasteries, to which for the sixth year now a clergyman with several parishioners has been delivering part of such donations, is the Bishop’s Women’s Compound in honor of the Monk Paisius the Svyatogorets in the village of Olzhevo.
The abbess of the monastery, nun Kassiana (Kupalenko), and the sisters of the monastery are sincerely grateful to Father John and the parishioners, who with all their hearts wish to serve God and their neighbor with their labors.
