Parishioners of Lida churches visited the Holy Dormition Zhirovichi Monasterytranslated

On October 31, the Lida Deanery organized a pilgrimage trip to the Assumption Zhirovichi Monastery. The group was accompanied by the cleric of the city Church of All Saints, Priest Oleg Repetsky.

The pilgrims prayed at the Divine Liturgy and prayerfully venerated the miraculous Zhirovitsky image of the Mother of God “Zhirovitskaya”, and also learned about the history of the monastery during the excursion.

On the way back, the residents of Lida visited the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in the village of Synkovichi. This is one of the earliest Gothic Orthodox churches in our land. In the church there is a copy of the icon of the Mother of God “The Tsaritsa”, to which people from different parts of our land come every day, asking for Her intercession and healing of ailments.
