Parishioners of the churches of the Lida diocese visited the holy places of the Pskov landtranslated

With the blessing of Bishop Porfiry of Lida and Smorgon, from October 2 to 5, the Lida diocese organized a pilgrimage trip to the holy places of the Pskov land. The group was led by the clergy of the Lida deanery, Priest Oleg Repetsky and Archpriest Rostislav Solovyov.
First of all, the pilgrims visited the Assumption Pskov-Pechersky Monastery, where they were able to get acquainted with the monastery and visited the caves created by God, in which the Pechersk elders labored in fasting and prayer. The pilgrims also prayed and venerated other shrines of the monastery: the miraculous icons of the Mother of God “Assumption” and “Tenderness”, the incorruptible relics of the Venerable Martyr Cornelius, the Venerable Simeon, the Venerable Mark and Vassa of the Pechersk, and in the evening they prayed at the all-night vigil in the Pskov-Pechersky Monastery. And on Sunday, many of them began the Sacraments at the early Divine Liturgy.
The pilgrims also visited the St. John the Theologian Krypetsky Monastery, where the holy incorruptible relics of St. Savva and Cornelius of Krypetsky rest, and also plunged into the holy spring of St. Savva of Krypetsky.
