The parish in the name of Saints Zosima and Savvaty Solovetsky provided assistance to the orphanage pupilstranslated

July 16, 2026 · 1 min read

On July 15, the parish in the name of Saints Zosima and Savvaty of Solovetsky in the village of Is provided charitable assistance to children: donated sweets and school supplies to the pupils of the orphanage.

This time, representatives of the parish visited an orphanage in the city of Nizhnyaya Tura. The meeting turned out to be truly warm and joyful: the adults played with the children, danced, tried to give the children a good mood - and at the end of the meeting they rewarded the children with delicious treats.

It is worth noting that this is not the first time that the parish has supported the children of the orphanage - providing assistance has become a good and constant tradition of the community. Such visits provide children not only with material support, but also with simple human attention, which is so necessary for every child.

It's good that the tradition is already permanent. Nizhnyaya Tura is far away, but they still travel, play with children and bring sweets. Ours could also organize this, but there are people who want to do it.

I agree, Konstantin, Nizhnyaya Tura is really not close, but they still regularly gather and travel. We also have a lot of people in Yaroslavl who are ready to help, but so far no one has decided to organize a trip. Maybe we should propose it to the parish council ourselves?

Yes, Alexey, it’s really not close to Nizhnyaya Tura; it takes us about three hours by car one way. But when you see how children are waiting for these visits, then you’re not too lazy to go. And in Yaroslavl, if you decide, start at least small - collect a list of those who are ready, and show it to the parish council, maybe they’ll pick it up.
