With the assistance of a local church, a conversation about the saints of the Russian land was held in a kindergarten in the village of Solnechnytranslated

On October 19, in kindergarten No. 1 “Smile” in the village of Solnechny, as part of the Municipal Festival of Interethnic Cultures, a thematic conversation “Saints of the Russian Land” took place. The event was organized with the assistance of the Church of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in the city of Uzhur with the blessing of the rector, Archpriest Pavel Tretyakov.
The conversation was conducted by Elena Yanina, assistant rector for religious and educational activities. The participants of the meeting were pupils of preparatory groups, who became acquainted with the image of St. Elijah of Murom - a saint known for his courage and service to his native land.
The meeting program included watching a cartoon about the life of the saint, game tests of dexterity and strength, as well as acquaintance with elements of ancient Russian military equipment. Using the example of the feat of Ilya Muromets, the children were told that real strength is manifested not only in physical strength, but also in kindness, mutual assistance, courage and readiness to protect those who need help.
Such meetings, bringing together preschool institutions and the Russian Orthodox Church, contribute to the preservation of historical memory and introduce children to the spiritual and cultural heritage of Russia.
