Patronal feast day in the village of Gary: a day of unity, prayer and pastoral caretranslated

On September 17, on the day of remembrance of St. Joasaph of Belgorod, the parish of the village of Gary solemnly celebrated its patronal feast day. The joy of this bright day was shared with the community by the dean of the district, Priest Nikolai Melekhin.
The festive service was held in a warm and focused prayerful atmosphere. At the end of the service, Dean Nikolai Melekhin, together with the rector of the parish, Priest Vladimir Krasnoperov, sang glorification and magnification to St. Joasaph.
During his conversation with parishioners, Father Nikolai shared his impressions of his recent trip to Yekaterinburg, where, with the blessing of Bishop Theognostus, he participated in solemn services dedicated to the bringing to Russia of the right hand of St. Spyridon of Trimythous. In memory of this significant event and as a blessing to the believers, the dean distributed commemorative icons.
After the service, all those gathered enjoyed a common meal. Pilgrims from the villages of Sosva and Lobva came to congratulate the parishioners: their participation once again showed how dear such meetings and the opportunity to share the joy of the patronal celebration are to people.
