On July 12, 2026, the parish in honor of the holy supreme apostles Peter and Paul in the village of Zalivino, Tara region, celebrated its patronal feast day and the tenth anniversary of the consecration of the church.

The festive Divine Liturgy, with the blessing of Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsk, was led by the rector of the parish, Hieromonk Theodosius (Dolgov). Concelebrating with him was the rector of the Church of the Great Martyr Catherine in the village of Ekaterininskoye, Tara district, Priest Nikolai Gensitsky.

At the end of the Liturgy, according to the tradition of the patronal day, a festive procession of the cross was held around the church, sprinkling everyone with holy water.

On behalf of Bishop Vincent, Hieromonk Theodosius warmly congratulated everyone on the patronal feast day, as well as on the tenth anniversary of the consecration of the church.

With the blessing of the ruling bishop, for diligent work for the glory of God and the Tara diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church, he gave church awards to especially distinguished parish assistants. Thank God that the church has been standing strong for ten years. I know the Myasnikovs, they really were hunched over from the first days at the construction site, it’s nice that they were noted. And the religious procession in the heat was probably especially refreshing after the sprinkling.

I agree, the Myasnikovs really worked hard from the very beginning, I remember how Sergei Alexandrovich disappeared at the site both in the cold and in the slush. The religious procession in such heat really became a salvation - the water was refreshing, and then everyone sat at the table in the shade and drank tea. Do you often go to Zalivino to see the throne?

Yes, the Myasnikovs were really there from the very first brick, Sergei Alexandrovich did not shirk even at -30. The procession of the cross in the heat also helped me, especially after the Liturgy. Did you come from afar that day or were you already there?

Yes, the Myasnikovs are real hard workers, Sergei Alexandrovich did not sit out even in the cold. That day I had just arrived from Yekaterinburg the night before, spent the night with friends in Tara, and in the morning I was already in Zalivino. Did you yourself walk in the religious procession with a censer or did you just help with the housework?
