Patronal feast of the Boris and Gleb Church of the Mertut massiftranslated

On August 6, on the day of remembrance of the holy noble princes Boris and Gleb, the parish of the Boris and Gleb Church of the Mertut massif solemnly celebrated its patronal holiday.
The Divine Liturgy was led by the dean of the Toksovsky district, Priest Andrei Morozov, co-served by the rector of the Boris and Gleb Church, Priest Georgy Soltanyazov, and the head of the monastery of the Prophet Elijah on the island of Lembos (Valaam), Abbot Maximilian.
During the service, the clergy, parishioners and numerous guests of the church collectively offered prayers to the holy noble princes Boris and Gleb, the heavenly patrons of the parish.
At the end of the Divine Liturgy, a festive religious procession took place around the church. The dean of the Toksovsky district, Priest Andrei Morozov, congratulated the rector, parishioners and guests on the patronal holiday, wishing the parish God's help, spiritual strengthening and further growth in faith and love.
The celebration continued with a common meal and a concert. The festive program was opened by the children's choir of the Sunday school of Boris and Gleb Church. The young singers prepared their performance especially for the throne day. Musicians and other participants in the festive program also performed for the guests.
