Patronal celebration of the Elias Church of Tevriztranslated

On August 2, 2026, on the day of remembrance of the Prophet Elijah, the temple of the regional village of Tevriz celebrated its patronal celebration.

The Divine Liturgy was led by the rector of the church, priest Alexy Tishchenko.

At the end of the service, a godfather was made at the monument to the Unknown Soldier in Victory Square, in which paratroopers from the Tevriz region took part. Then the procession proceeded to the Trinity Church under construction, where a thanksgiving prayer was held.

The prayer procession on the day of the Patronal Feast united the clergy, parishioners and defenders of the Fatherland in common prayer and testimony of faith.
