"In this period, when we are called to be more open to dialogue, solidarity and care for those in need, the outstanding initiatives and projects you support, as well as the prompt responses and approaches to the current challenges and transformations, which you promote with wisdom and visionary spirit, have a unique contribution to building the common good and social peace, around perennial moral-spiritual values", Sorin-Mihai wrote to him Grindeanu to the Patriarch of Romania.

Thanks for the news. Mr. Grindeanu's congratulations sound nice, especially the part with the "remarkable initiatives and projects" supported by Patriarch Daniel - I'm thinking of the homes for the elderly and the aids for families with many children that I saw in our parish. May God give him health at 75 years old.

I agree, Anastasia, especially about homes for the elderly - in Tula, we have a similar shelter at a church that also relies on such projects. Can you tell us in more detail which families with children received help in your parish? God help the patriarch, let him continue to serve.

Thanks for this story. In Grindeanu's letter, the "initiatives and amazing projects" supported by Patriarch Danieli are well mentioned - in Tbilisi, too, many elderly people receive help and food through the church. I am interested in how much money has been allocated for such houses in Romania this year.

Thanks Levan, you said well about the example of Tbilisi. In Romania this year, money was also allocated for the construction of several houses and nursing homes, although I do not know the exact figure. What do you think, should we start more such projects in our country or should we pay attention to the old ones?

Maria, the example of Tbilisi reminds me that a few years ago they built a new home for the elderly on Nutsubidze, but the building is still half empty. I'd rather have the old hearths taken care of and improved inside than start a new one. Which do you think will benefit people faster?

Thank you, Anastasia. In Rostov, too, after such projects from the Patriarch, they began to open shelters for the elderly right next to churches, and grandmothers say that they are finally not alone. In which particular parish did you see help for large families? I wish him good health, of course, for many years to come.

It's true, Ketevan, I remember Nutsubidze's house - how many times have I passed there and half the floor is empty. I also think that the old centers should be taken care of first, food, heating and nurses should be improved. Do you know the condition of that building now?

In Minsk, after such initiatives, we also opened a small canteen for the elderly at a church on the outskirts, grandmothers come, knit together and do not feel forgotten. And in Rostov, in what church exactly was the shelter opened, if it’s not a secret? Health to the Patriarch, of course.

Thank you Levan, you are right - through the church in Tbilisi every week we give food and medicine to several elderly people, and I often send something from my store. In Romania, it is interesting how much they spend on these houses, but I think we should pay more attention to the existing centers that are already working and serving people. what are you saying
ლევან ჯავახიშვილი
Thanks Nikoloz, it's good that you also send from the store. You are right, we should pay more attention to the existing hubs so they don't stop. Which kitchen or house do you know the closest to?
