Retired priests, distinguished by IPS Joachim: Giving your whole life to Christ means walking with Himtranslated

A number of 22 retired priests from the Archdiocese of Bacău were honored on Sunday, at the "Resurrection of the Lord" Church in the municipality, by Archbishop Joachim of Roman and Bacău. On this occasion, His Eminence explained the meaning of clerical service: "Giving your whole life to Christ means walking with Him."
The Holy Liturgy was officiated by His Holiness Father Teofil Trotușanul, Vicar Bishop of the Roman and Bacau Archdiocese.
At the end of the service, His Holiness Father Joachim showed that the entire priestly ministry is a path of sacrifice and resurrection, inspired by the very work of Christ the Redeemer.
"Our life is a climb to Easter and of course it is also a cross. And everyone must climb, and that's why I give you advice, that everyone climbs their own Golgotha to get crucified with Him, to be buried with Him, to rise with Him."
