Orthodox priests from the Metropolis of the Two Americas served on Monday at the church in the Mănăștur neighborhood of Cluj-Napoca. Among them were also South American clerics.

"We did not come to teach you anything, but we came to learn from you the secrets of the right faith and living life in Christ", said, in the teaching word, father Alex Aedo Vilugron, archpope of Latin America within the Romanian Orthodox Metropolis of the Two Americas.

Pope Alex Aedo Vilugron from Chile caught my attention - he has a doctorate from Oxford and at the same time serves in the southernmost Orthodox parish in the world. It's interesting how faith spreads down there too. I would like to know how they are doing with the local people in that Parish of Conception.

Pope Alex Aedo Vilugron interested me, that doctorate from Oxford and then such a small parish down in Chile. I wonder if they have more local ex-Catholics there, or rather immigrants from Eastern Europe. I would definitely like to look at the photos from their Conception, if I can find any.
