Preparation for family life, the theme of the Oașa 2026 International Camptranslated

"Preparation for family life" was the theme of the Oașa International Camp, which brought together more than 180 young Romanians from the country and the diaspora between July 17-27, 2026. The theme was chosen in the context of the Year of Homage 2026 in the Romanian Patriarchate, dedicated to the pastoral care of the Christian family.

At the Oașa Monastery in Alba county, the family was not only a topic of discussion, but also a community experience lived through prayer, work and friendship.

Thus, for ten days, the young people entered the rhythm of the monastic life by daily participation in the Holy Liturgy, household activities (listening), psaltic music rehearsals, knowledge workshops, conferences, spiritual dialogues, cultural evenings and recreational activities.

Lectures and spiritual dialogues The spiritual program of the camp was supported by guests who approached the theme of the family from complementary perspectives.
