PRIESTLY LITURGIES CELEBRATED FOR THE FEAST OF THE PATRONAL FEAST DAY OF THE POKROV OF THE THEOTOKOS IN SOFIA METROPARCHYtranslated

On October 1 (Thursday), when the Orthodox Church celebrates the Feast of the Pokrov of the Theotokos, with the blessing of His All-Holiness the Metropolitan and Patriarch of Sofia, priestly liturgies will be celebrated in the Sofia metroparchy according to the following program:

9:00 am – Patriarchal divine liturgy at the Cathedral Church of the Pokrov of the Theotokos, presided by His All-Holiness the Metropolitan and Patriarch of Bulgaria Daniil.

9:00 am – Episcopal divine liturgy at St. Pokrov Monastery in Samokov, presided by His Eminence Bishop Joan of Braničevo, first vicar of the Metropolitan of Sofia.

9:30 am – Episcopal divine liturgy at St. Dormition Uspensky Monastery in Iskret, presided by His Grace Bishop Isaac of Velbužd, second vicar of the Metropolitan of Sofia.
