In the administration of the Academic District, within the framework of the Council of Superiors of the Academic District, a round table was held on October 15, 2026 on the topic “Guardianship of public sobriety as a form of social partnership.” The Yekaterinburg diocese was represented by the chairman of the department for the promotion of sobriety and the prevention of addictions of the Yekaterinburg diocese, the rector of the St. Nicholas Church at the Ural State Mining University, Archpriest Igor Bachinin, the dean of the Ivanovo district of churches of Yekaterinburg, the rector of the Church of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Holy Builders of God) Priest Daniel Ryabinin, rector of the church in the name of the Holy Equal-to-the-Apostles Prince Vladimir, priest Sergei Shumkov.
