A representative of the Vyborg diocese held a meeting with employees of the Russian Guard on the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Marytranslated

On October 14, on the feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the deputy chairman of the Missionary Department of the Vyborg diocese, rector of the Church of the Holy Great Martyr Barbara in the village of Rakhya, priest Oleg Patrikeev, met with employees of the Russian Guard.

Father Oleg spoke about the history and spiritual meaning of the Feast of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos, as well as the most revered images of the Mother of God and the church traditions associated with them.

At the end of the meeting, all participants were given educational booklets dedicated to the Feast of the Intercession. Father Oleg donated a book about the holy places of Greece to the unit’s library.
