Representative of the Krasnoyarsk Diocese Conducted Seminar for Teachers on "Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture"translated

On September 26, Andrei Bardakov, Director of the Archdiocesan Educational Center of the Krasnoyarsk Diocese, conducted a seminar on teaching the module "Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture" for teachers of Religious Cultures and Secular Ethics from various regions of the Krasnoyarsk Krai. The meeting focused on spiritual and moral values, traditional religions of Russia, as well as the use of local history materials in classes.

The seminar took place at the Center of Spiritual Culture "Kasiyanov House." During the meeting, teachers familiarized themselves with the exhibitions and methodological developments of the center.

Andrei Bardakov noted that more and more parents are choosing for their fourth-grade children to study "Fundamentals of Orthodox Culture," and it is important that this module does not remain just textbook material for students. He said that through the history of Krasnoyarsk, the life stories of people, and genuine objects, a child can see how culture and traditions are linked to everyday life. The representative of the diocese emphasized that teachers need specific materials for such work.
