A representative of the Krasnoyarsk diocese took part in a meeting of the governor with members of the councils for interethnic and religious relationstranslated

On November 4, National Unity Day, the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Mikhail Kotyukov and representatives of the councils for interaction with religious associations and interethnic relations discussed key areas of work to strengthen harmony in the region. The meeting took place at the site of the National Center "Russia".

In his opening remarks, the head of the region noted the contribution of leaders of faiths and national-cultural autonomies to strengthening unity between peoples. With the blessing of Metropolitan Nikita of Krasnoyarsk and Achinsk, the rector of the Krasnoyarsk churches of John the Baptist and Righteous Joachim and Anna, Archpriest Nikolai Shi-ke-min, took part in the meeting.

During the meeting, participants shared their experience in implementing events that promote interethnic dialogue within the framework of the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. Particular attention was paid to adaptation work, including with young people coming to the region from foreign countries and national republics. The event ended with an awards ceremony.
