The campaign “Sobriety is the choice of the strong!” is taking place in Krasnoyarsk. The organizer was the Krasnoyarsk Regional Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention, support was provided by the Krasnoyarsk Regional Narcological Dispensary No. 1, employees of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the Department for Promoting Sobriety and Combating Drug Addiction and Alcoholism of the Krasnoyarsk Diocese, as well as the RPO “Society for Disease Prevention and Health Preservation.”

The first lesson took place at the Krasnoyarsk College of Radio Electronics and Information Technologies. An interdisciplinary lecture group was invited to dialogue with the students: a medical specialist highlighted the physiological aspects of the effects of alcohol, representatives of law enforcement agencies spoke about the legal consequences of abuse, and the staff priest of the Church of John the Baptist, Priest Pavel Glibchak, emphasized the importance of spiritual and moral education, noting that sobriety is not just a rejection of bad habits, but also a path to harmony with oneself and others.
