Celebration of the Council of Vyatka Saints and the Day of Remembrance of St. Tryphon of Vyatkatranslated

On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, the Divine Liturgy on the feast of St. Tryphon of Vyatka and the Council of Vyatka Saints was celebrated in the Holy Dormition Cathedral of the Trifonov Monastery. The service was led by Metropolitan Evgeniy of Tallinn and All Estonia. The joy of serving was shared by Bishop Paisiy of Yaran and Luza, Bishop of Urzhum and Omutninsky Vsevolod. The clergy of the Vyatka Metropolis concelebrated with the bishops. The service was adorned with prayer chants performed by the Bishop's Choir under the regency of Priest Georgy Pavlov. The Governor of the Kirov Region Alexander Valentinovich Sokolov with other representatives of the regional authorities and numerous parishioners were present at the Divine Liturgy. Praying at the Liturgy were the abbess of the Nativity of Christ convent in the city of Slobodsky, abbess Feodosia (Dyachkova), and the abbess of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky convent in the city of Kirov, abbess Thaddeus (Sivtsova).
