A celebration of family, creativity and joy took place at the walls of the Holy Assumption Cathedral in Rechitsatranslated

On Sunday, July 12, 2026, the temple area of the Holy Assumption Cathedral in Rechitsa turned into a festive site for a family program dedicated to the Day of Family, Love and Fidelity. The holiday, dedicated to the day of remembrance of the patron saints of the marriage of Peter and Fevronia of Murom, united parishioners around traditional family values, giving the joy of joint creativity and lively communication.

The main participants in the celebration were young parishioners. A creative workshop was organized for the children to make daisies - delicate symbols of the holiday. Under the guidance of parish mentors, the children enthusiastically created their own crafts, which they then proudly presented to their parents.

Fun outdoor games and sports relay races took place on the green lawn near the walls of the cathedral. Children competed in agility and speed, learned to act together, helping and supporting each other.
