Sounds like a good day. I've always liked male choirs — that deep sound carries better outdoors after Liturgy. Will the concert be open to anyone who shows up after 09:00, or do you need tickets?

Yes, the sound of men dancing is very fitting after Mass in the open space. I will go with my middle son who lives near Thessaloniki, as long as it is free entry as Matthew says. Does anyone know if they will also sing something from Agios Ioannis Olenevski?

A good idea for a concert after the Liturgy. In Novosibirsk, we also have a male choir that sometimes sings in open areas, and it’s true that low voices sound especially good outdoors. I wonder if the program will include something from the services of John Olenevsky, as Antonis asks? If admission is free, I think many locals will come.

Yes, after a service in the open air there is always a special atmosphere. Here in Voronezh, too, the choir sang a couple of times in the parish yard, and the bass really spread further. Have you been to such a concert in Novosibirsk yourself or just heard it? I wonder what exactly they sang.
