The traditional fraternal prayer service was performed by the rector of the church in honor of the Tabyn Icon of the Mother of God, priest Stefan Koksharov, at the memorial “Grieving Mothers” (Chelyabinsk region). The gathered men prayed for the peace and well-being of the Fatherland, the people, the authorities and the military of the Russian state.

A prayer service in front of the “Augustovskaya” Icon of the Mother of God brought together representatives of the “Forty Sorokov” Movement, the Chelyabinsk branch of the World Russian People’s Council, as well as foundations, public, including sports, organizations: “Life Line”, “Northern Man”, “Home Front Volunteers”. At the same time, in the church, in front of the revered image of the Tabyn Icon of the Mother of God, women - participants in the Service for the Protection of Life “S.P.A.S.” at the Odigitrievsky Convent.

A fraternal prayer service for faith, Fatherland and people is held in Chelyabinsk on the first Sunday of every month, the press service of the diocese reported on October 7. In the near future, Orthodox Christians, who are not indifferent to the fate of their country, will hold a religious procession on October 11 - the day of the feast of the Synaxis of Saints of the Chelyabinsk Metropolis.
