Orthodox literature has replenished the libraries in Danilovichi and Prisnotranslated

The information department of the Gomel diocese donated books to the library of the parish of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in the agricultural town of Danilovichi and the 24-hour department of the State Institution “Center for Social Services for the Population of the Vetkovsky District”, located in the ag. Prisno.
The literature was collected through the joint efforts of the parishes of the Gomel diocese as part of the “Give an Orthodox Book” campaign.
On October 27, 2026, the chairman of the Information Department, Archpriest Oleg Kostroma, handed over the publications to the rector of the parish of the Church of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker in Danilovichi, Archpriest Andrei Bulatsky. Some of the books will be added to the parish library, while others will be delivered by the clergyman to the 24-hour department in Prisno.
Among the donated publications are Bibles, prayer books, patristic works and methodological literature for Sunday school classes. The selection was also supplemented by works by Russian and foreign classics.
The parish in Danilovichi regularly provides assistance to the branch in Prisno: it donates food and gifts, and the rector visits people living there for conversations and spiritual guidance. Now the department's library will be replenished with Orthodox literature.
