The event was organized by the Writers' Union of Transnistria with the support of the city state administration, the Tiraspol-Dubossary diocese and the management of the museum. The evening was opened by the Chairman of the Writers' Union of Transnistria, Advisor to the Ruling Bishop on issues of culture and education Nikolai Viktorovich Dymchenko. He spoke about the history of Tiraspol and its Orthodox traditions. The cleric of the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ, Archpriest Georgy Skobil, announced the greeting of Archbishop Sava. During the meeting, participants turned to interesting pages of the city’s history, read poetry and prose on Orthodox themes.
