Fr. Ioan Pițura was buried at the Ruscova Monastery church, his foundationtranslated

Father Ioan Pițura, former vicar of the Urcaine community in Romania, was buried on Monday at the church of the "St. John the Baptist" Monastery in Ruscova, Maramureș county, the place of worship being founded by the late priest.
The funeral service was officiated by the Patriarchal Vicar Bishop Varlaam Ploieșteanul, together with Fr. Marius N. Lauruc, the current vicar of the Ukrainian Orthodox Vicariate in Romania, archim. Clement Haralam, Grand Ecclesiarch of the Patriarchal Cathedral, Fr. Sorin Eusebiu Argintariu, patriarchal secretary in the Chancellery of the Holy Synod, as well as Ukrainian and Romanian priests from Maramureș.
