Fr. Florin Marica congratulated Patriarch Daniel for his steadfast care in the education of children and young peopletranslated

Father Florin Marica, director of the national youth activity center project "Saint Ilie Thesvitean", delivered a congratulatory speech on Wednesday on the anniversary of the birthday of Blessed Father Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, in the new church of the Missionary Cultural Center "Familia", in the city of Pantelimon, Ilfov county.

"Among the major coordinates of this ministry is the steadfast concern for the education of children and young people. In a society exposed to secularization, accelerated mobility, economic and moral crises, migration of parents abroad, violence and isolation, Your Beatitude has consistently affirmed that true education, based on a set of perennial spiritual values, is essential in the formation of the young generation."

The father mentioned the main catechetical projects and youth activities of the Patriarch of Romania, including the National Catechetical Program "Christ shared with children", the "Choose School!" Project, the "St. Nicholas in the midst of children" competition-show and the "St. Ilie Thesvitean" National Center for youth activities.

Gheorghe PopescuI thank Father Florin Marica for these words. I also saw how the "Christ shared with children" program helped a lot at the Sunday school in our parish in Bucharest, the children come with more joy. Patriarch Daniel's care for young people is clear, especially now when so many parents are abroad.
