Congratulations to the residents of Vichuga on the Day of Family, Love and Fidelitytranslated

On July 8, on the day of remembrance of the faithful Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia of Murom, the assistant to the dean of the Vichuga district for missionary work, Deacon Sergiy Bezzubov, together with activists of the parish of the Resurrection Cathedral in Vichuga, held a targeted congratulation to the residents of the Tezino microdistrict and the village of Krasny Oktyabr. They handed out greeting cards to passers-by with a brief explanation of the meaning of the holiday.
The event is organized as part of the deanery's missionary service plan. According to Deacon Sergius Bezzubov, such outings to neighborhoods are a form of “internal mission” - they allow you to establish contact with people and remind them of Christian values through personal communication, without intrusiveness.
Residents reacted favorably to the initiative: they thanked for their attention, were interested in the schedule of services at the Resurrection Cathedral and the opportunity to participate in parish events. In total, about 50 postcards were distributed. In the near future, similar events are planned for other Orthodox holidays.
