Congratulations from Metropolitan Ambrose of Tver and Kashin on the Day of the Coat of Arms and Flag of the Tver Regiontranslated

The history of the Tver land knows an example of such service. The holy noble prince Mikhail of Tverskoy gave his life for his people. The coat of arms of the region is not dedicated to Saint Michael personally, but the princely throne depicted on it encourages one to remember his fate, once again reminding oneself that responsibility for one’s native land sometimes requires true selflessness.
