Visit to the Transfiguration Church in the village of Buzharovo by the Sunday school of the Kazan Church in Glebovotranslated

On October 17, 2026, a group of students from the Sunday school of the Kazan Church in the village of Glebovo, together with their parents, visited the Transfiguration Church in the village of Buzharovo. The rector of the church, Father Nikolai Riznichenko, gave a tour of the church, introduced it to its history, structure, spoke about the rare icons that are in the church, and also performed a prayer service with anointing with oil before the icon “Cathedral of the Optina Elders” with particles of relics. The young participants of the excursion toured the territory of the church, visited the holy spring, and also venerated the street icon of the Transfiguration of the Lord - an exact copy of the icon located on Mount Tabor.
