People are already spreading some fakes again. Metropolitan Ignatius would never write such a thing, that is clear to anyone who knows him at least a little. Too bad it has to be addressed after someone shares it further.

That's right, Matej, the fake text is clearly not his style at first glance. Ignatius always speaks directly and without such detours. It's just a shame that someone even invented it and released it to the world.

It's the same old trick, isn't it. Anyone who's heard Metropolitan Ignaty speak knows he doesn't do roundabout phrases like that. Pity some fool spent time typing it up instead of doing something useful.

It is unfortunate that such fake letters are still circulating. Metropolitan Ignatius' style is really different — direct and concise. It would be nice if people did something more useful instead of spreading this.

Exactly, Matej, that text is so artificially written that even a student of theology could not swallow it. It's just a shame that it spreads faster than the truth from the pulpit.

Salome, I completely agree with you. Metropolitan Ignatius's letters are always short and direct, so this fake text will immediately catch your eye. It is better if someone offers to help in the garden or church instead.

I agree, Zuzana, the style is really strange, as if it was written by someone who has never been to a liturgy. Yesterday, a neighbor from work sent it to me, and I immediately saw that it did not match the way Vladyka Игнатий normally speaks. It's a waste of time for such inventions.

Yes, Elizabeth, that neighbor gave you exactly what I saw - a completely different vocabulary than in the sermons. When I read it, it was immediately clear to me that it was not his handwriting, the usual expressions from the liturgy that he has been using for years were also missing. It's a shame that people still spread such things.

You're right, Elizabeth, that neighbor gave you exactly the same feeling as me. Vladyka Игнатий always uses words like "peace of God" or "prayer for the world" in his sermons, and there was nothing like that here. It's a shame that someone still bothers to spread it.

You are right, Anna, the feeling of preaching is the same for me - there was always at least one "peace of God". It's a shame that it continues to spread, because it only unnecessarily confuses people in our parish. Did you see it on Facebook or elsewhere?
