I agree that harmony of differences sounds better than uniformity. But when the Pope speaks about forgiveness instead of vengeance, I would be interested to hear how this can be specifically applied in today's Europe, where neighbors often fail to agree even on common matters. A peaceful thought for Sunday.

The idea of harmony in differences makes sense on paper, but like Tomáš said, it's the everyday neighbour disputes that test it. Forgiveness over revenge sounds strong in the homily, yet watching European politicians bicker over farming rules or migration quotas makes me wonder how that mercy gets applied without one side always giving way. Good reminder for Sunday though.
