Signing of the Cooperation Program between the Gomel Diocese and the Gomel State College of Trade and Servicestranslated

On October 12, 2026, within the walls of the Gomel diocesan administration, a meeting was held between Archbishop Stefan of Gomel and Zhlobin and the director of the educational institution “Gomel State College of Trade and Services” Tatyana Adamovna Gusak. During the meeting, a cooperation program between the college and the Gomel diocese for 2026–2030 was signed.

Opening the meeting, the Bishop congratulated those present on the Feast of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Mother’s Day, told the history of the holiday and noted that the signing of the agreement is important both for the Gomel diocese and for the college. The archpastor emphasized that, holding any position, a person must first of all remain kind and treat other people with love. The Bishop wished health to the students and expressed hope that in the future they would create strong families.

Tatyana Adamovna, in turn, emphasized that signing the cooperation program is an important step for the college.
