On September 14, 2026, a meeting took place between Archbishop Stefan of Gomel and Zhlobin and the rector of the educational institution Gomel State Technical University named after P.O. Sukhoi" Artur Vladimirovich Putyato, within the framework of which a cooperation program between the university and the Gomel diocese for 2026–2030 was signed.

Opening the meeting, Bishop Stefan emphasized the importance of signing the document, noting that the diocese and the university have common goals - the education and upbringing of the younger generation. Young people will receive a profession and in the future will apply their knowledge in their native land. Archbishop Stefan expressed hope that the cooperation will bear fruit, thanked the rectorate and teaching staff for their joint work and wished the university further development.

Arthur Vladimirovich, in turn, expressed gratitude to Vladyka for his spiritual support and called the cooperation program presented for signing a significant confirmation of the joint work that has been going on for many years.
