The Joint Action Plan of the regional Ministry of Education and the dioceses of the Yekaterinburg Metropolis for the 2026/2027 academic year has been signedtranslated

On Saturday, October 17, 2026, the solemn signing of the Plan of joint activities of the regional Ministry of Education and the Yekaterinburg, Kamensk, Alapaevsk, Nizhny Tagil and Serov dioceses of the Russian Orthodox Church for the 2026/2027 academic year took place.

The event preceded the opening of a new season of “Academic meetings” with teachers from schools of the Yekaterinburg Metropolitanate. The meeting took place in the new building of the Yekaterinburg Theological Seminary in Verkhnyaya Pyshma.

The document was signed by the regional Minister of Education Svetlana Yurievna Trenikhina and the Chairman of the Synodal Department of Religious Education and Catechesis, Metropolitan of Yekaterinburg and Verkhoturye Evgeniy.

The plan of joint activities determines the interaction of the regional education system with the Yekaterinburg diocese in the field of spiritual and moral education and upbringing during the new academic year. The plan was signed on the basis of a Cooperation Agreement between the Yekaterinburg Metropolis of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Ministry of Education.
