Father Dimitry was born on July 19, 1972 in Krasnoyarsk. He began his path of serving the Church of Christ after graduating from school: he served obedience in the Church of the Holy Trinity in the city of Krasnoyarsk, and then in the Cathedral of the Intercession of the Mother of God. In 1990 he was drafted into the army, upon his return he returned to obedience in the cathedral.
