The Mara Gate, built in 1936, and a grape press were restored within the Baia Mare Village Museum, through a project dedicated to the preservation of vernacular heritage.

La porte Mara est en bois de chêne et est également connue sous le nom de « Porte Dăncuș ». Elle a été construite par Traian Bilțiu-Dăncuş, aidé par Gavril Utan de Călinești, et est considérée comme la première porte du Maramures à cinq piliers.
