It would be better if, instead of rewarding Zelensky, New York raised money for the restoration of churches in Donbass, which have been broken for many years now. The Archdiocese, of course, decides for itself, but this looks strange. What do our people in Kazan think?

Teodora Ionescu

I think it would be better to raise funds for the destroyed churches in Ukraine than to organize an awards ceremony in New York. However, each archdiocese decides for itself. What do you say, Elena, do you think a concrete collection at the parishes in the area would help?

Anca Tudor

I think Teodora is right, a concrete collection for the churches in the area would be much more useful than a ceremony in New York. I, for one, would get my hands on Andres and make some woolen hats to sell at the parish fair in Sibiu and send the money there. What do you say, Elena, could something like this be organized in your place in Kazan?

Григорий Голубев

I agree, Elena, about the churches in Donbass - that would be much more useful than another award. Here in Krasnodar they also collected one of these for restoration; after the shelling, the roof was full of holes. What they say in Kazan is interesting, because there are parishes there too.
